Pinewood Derby Season yet again. The boys (and their Dad) enjoyed a successfull run. Hunter's took 2nd overall and Caleb's was 2nd among the wolves. Pretty good showing consedering there were around eighty something cars. They did a great job desinging their cars. Hunter wanted a cobra car with a snake and flames. Caleb chose a phantom/pirate theme.

My Stick Family from WiddlyTinks.com
Thought this was cute, and warranted a couple of time wasted minutes putting it together. Perfect family picture. I look really skinny :D

Some more trips from our trek to Utah. We spent a lot of time in the car, but I think the kids did pretty good. Aside from the occasional melt down and the not so occasional potty break, we sort of had fun on our ride. They loved staying in the hotel. Canceling cable at home turned out to be a good move, it made the hotel seem really luxurious to the kids when they could watch the Disney Channel.
The final picture is of my parents and their grandkids. That is right, we not only traveled back to Utah to attend a funeral, but we also took family pictures with my family. Good Times. There is nothing that says vacation, like trying to make 14 kids happy in a picture at the same time.

Race for the Cure
Finished my 5K! I finished in record time - for me. Meaning that I was probably 10 - 20 minutes slower the the average runner. The "Race for the Cure" is my favorite 5K to run. They have great sponsors and there is a wonderful spirit about it. The parade of survivors always makes me a little emotional, especially when I think of those who I love who are dealing with this disease. My kids enjoyed the free pink capes they received and the pink bagels they were able to munch on.
Hanging with Great Grandma
While in Utah for Ashton's Step Fathers funeral we were able to spend the night with my grandma in Ogden. We made french toast and enjoyed the morning chatting with one of my favorite people.
